Longtable Project is actively identifying restaurants that have the intent or have already taken steps to move to more sustainable practices. They may be serving fresh, healthy, seasonal and local produce; supporting local wine and beer producers; actively saving resources, or engaging with ways to support their staff and the broader community. We would like to honour 24 of these restaurants with founding member status of the Long Table Project.
We would like to help these restaurants identify brand appropriate goals and we will help them communicate these achievements to local consumers, tourists and other interested parties. Restaurants that are engaging with these issues under the radar can carry on with their day to day business and let us tell their stories for them.
